Course Content
In the framework of the bio-psycho-social model, the aspects of promoting well-being will be deepen focusing on the most accredited and recent theories in the field of psychology of disability regarding developmental processes of the individual in the context. Attention will be given to interventions and promotion of inclusion. A specific seminar will be devoted to bullying and disability.

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
Understanding and knowing the nosographic definitions and diagnostic classifications used in the context of atypical development processes. Understanding and knowing the theoretical aspects underlying the concept of disability promoting that promote interventions for inclusion.
APPLYING KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING.
Being able to use nosographic definitions and diagnostic classifications in the everyday developmental contexts. Being able to understand and analyze the role of risk and protective factors both at the individual and contextual level, in affecting the individual developmental trajectories in relation to disabilities. Being able to detect the protective and risk factors to intervene on, within the framework of promoting wellbeing (WHO) and inclusion.
MAKING JUDGMENTS.
Developing the ability to identify and promote autonomously the best interventions to promote an effective culture of inclusion, in each specific
situation. Developing adequate problem-solving skills applied to the analysis of atypical development and disabilities.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Competently mastering specific disciplinary terminology and technical language to proficiently communicate with professionals and nonprofessionals.
LEARNING SKILLS.
Developing personal attitude to knowledge and critical thinking about the contents of the course. Developing the ability to independently deepen and update the contents of the course.

Prerequisites
Knowing the fundamentals, theories and methods in the field of developmental end educational psychology. This knowledge is expected, after having previously passed the course Developmental and Educational Psychology

Lectures, exercises, and activities will be progressively uploaded on Moodle during the course.
Type of Assessment
The final exam last 1 hour and half and consists of 3 open questions to response in written form. The questions will assess students' acquisition of knowledge, ability to apply knowledge, judgment autonomy and communication skills.

- the most accredited and recent theoretical frameworks in the field of psychology of disability, with regard to developmental processes of the individual in the context;
- theoretical and methodological tools to understand and analyze disability starting from risk and protective factors in order to define interventions involving different developmental systems (e.g. family; peers, school, society etc.);
- theoretical constructs about well-being, disability, and inclusion according to WHO, vulnerability and resilience; social abilities, self determination;
- assessment and intervention: the contribution of neuropsychology, procedures and instruments for the enhancement of the individuals, positive psychology and disability.
A specific seminar will be devoted to bullying and disability: the prevalence rates, risks and protective factors, consequences and interventions.
