In this course we will explore the main characteristics of history of education, the current problems and debates, the methodological issues and the new trends of research both in Italy and in the european context. We will pay a special attention to the religious education in school.

Teacher-centered method of instruction; later on, whole-class discussions (facilitated by open-ended questions about a text).
